Digital Shoreditch Festival

Digital Shoreditch Festival

Normally we write round ups and reviews at the end of the week, but this week is special for us digital folk because it’s Digital Shoreditch so we decided to do a preview instead.

We’ve written before about this exciting part of London (Shoreditch and environs), which is the biggest digital community outside of the US and fondly dubbed the Silicon Roundabout. The Digital Shoreditch festival celebrates and highlights the prestigious creative flair within Shoreditch as the UK’s premier digital hub and will showcase the world-class talent within London’s digital community.

In their own words ‘Shoreditch will be transformed into a digital playground between 3rd-7th  May 2011 with late-night parties, massive projections, open studios, eye-catching displays, conference days, real-world interactive artworks and installations, and augmented reality games.’

We will be hanging out there this week and are proud to be attending the Digital Summit on Friday as VIP guests:  “This summit brings together the key Brains, Creatives and the Visionaries behind the vibrant Digital Shoreditch economy. This unique gathering of talent will explore the key issues facing our UK digital market, bring new perspectives to our old business problems and drive the manifesto for our Digital Shoreditch community going forwards.”

We can’t wait, and we look forward to meeting lots of you there.
