Nearly all businesses use social media for marketing these days, even if it’s just Facebook. However, there are now so many platforms and so much conflicting advice that it can be hard to work out how to get the maximum goodness out of the effort you put in – or just to identify best practice.
Consequently we put together a ‘social media marketing success for business’ prescription for our clients – an easy to use reference to the best times to post on the most popular networks, as well as how how often, and how long each post should be on average.
Clearly these are just general guidelines – your audience may prefer something totally different! – and it’s obviously not a substitute for a comprehensive social media marketing strategy and fully integrated social media marketing campaign.
However, as a quick and easy checklist it’s proved very useful for many of our clients, especially start ups and those beginning to use social media marketing for the first time.
It’s also proved handy as a reference start point for Marketing Managers looking to do a spot check on existing social media marketing management. If you need more support or analysis than this, we would be delighted to help – just get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org
